Super Bowl Party and then we got stuck in the elevator...

Our Super Bowl gathering was mellow. A few friends over, Guacamole, Salad, Pizza, Beer and Wine. Seth was definitely the most into the game, as the rest of our friends don’t know the rules. The game was telecast here in Spanish, probably from Mexico, on ESPN. I can assure you that most people here were watching the other kind of football (soccer) as River and Boca both played (dfferent games, not against eachother).

I guess the most noteworthy part of the evening was that as our guests were leaving, we made the mistake of 5 people getting in the elevator. The sign in the elevator clearly states that you should not allow more than 3 people or 200 kilos (450 lbs) at a time. Needless to say, the elevator got stuck. And, I am definitely more than a little claustrophobic in stuck elevators and I get panicky. So for the 4 minutes and 45 seconds that we were stuck inside, I was freaking out the first 2 min and 30 seconds of the wait. The elevator was on the ground floor and we were able to open the first door but the outer door would not budge. With the sounding of the bell (which I pressed incessantly) we woke up one of the tenants on the first floor and he came down to open the door. He was definitely annoyed, pointed out that we had dragged him out of bed and also that we were way over the allotted weight. Ooopss…. Think I’ll be taking the steps to the 6th floor for the next couple of days :-)
