Mom's Trip Observations!
The following is some observations and commentary that my Mom had about their trip here:
Hi Kathy,
Looking over my brief notes about the trip -besides noting what a great time we had visiting withyou, Seth, and April, I noted a few observations such as:
- the CRAZY and somewhat frightening driving - norules, disregard center line, red lights, no lights,
-WALKING for pedestrians can be tricky - cars always have the right of way
- Many dogs & dog walkers with large groups of dogs
-Great Food - especially steaks -wonderful restaurants
- Very late dinner hours
- Great shopping for leather products
-Fun street fairs for shopping
-Many, many places to tour, beautiful sights, relaxed atmosphere
-Soccer a big deal to everyone
- Peaceful demonstrations- very common
- Rare to see people of African descent
Kathy and Seth have alot of very nice and interesting friends!
