Dinner with the FABULOUS and FUN Pablo & Gonzalo

Last night we had dinner with Pablo and Gonzalo. They are a couple living here together in Buenos Aires who we met last year through Desiree and Sergio's English Teacher community. They live a few blocks away from us in Palermo Viejo and have a really cute Dalmation named Clark. We ran into Gonzalo on the street yesterday (while he was walking Clark) and caught up with him for a bit. Later in the evening Pablo sent us a text to see if we'd like to go to dinner. The plans were set.

Seth and I really had a good time catching up with them. Pablo had us cracking up - after one and a half glasses of wine (what a lightweight!) he was feeling it. Pablo is definitely more direct and doesn't mince words. Gonzalo is a little more reserved and seems to be the Yin to Pablo's Yang. We took them to our favorite Thai restaurant Lotus Neo Thai (really there are only 2 Thai Restaurants here in BsAs). As always the meal was delicious. Cecilia (the owner) really stays true to Thai cooking and this place will definitely be a regular for Seth and I. Pablo and Gonzalo also enjoyed the food as they had not been there before. It turned out to be an even better choice because Pablo has been a vegetarian since December so there were plenty of choices for him. Pablo is also practices Yoga (Hatha) on a daily basis and teaches classes twice a week. Right now his classes are on summer break until March.
